Classic cocktails

  • 2 oz bourbon
    Bar spoon maple syrup
    3 dashes of Angostura bitters
    1 orange peel to garnish

    1. Place a rocks glass with one large cube in the freezer to chill

    2. Add maple syrup, Angostura bitters, and bourbon to a mixing glass

    3. Fill 2/3 thirds with ice

    4. Stir for 30-45 seconds until mixing glass is chilled

    5. Single strain into chilled rocks glass

    6. Express orange and garnish with peel

  • 2 oz rye whiskey
    1 oz sweet vermouth
    2 dashes of Angostura bitters

    1. Place a martini glass in the freezer to chill 

    2. Add Angostura bitters, sweet vermouth, and bourbon to a mixing glass

    3. Fill 2/3 thirds with ice

    4. Stir for 30-45 seconds until mixing glass is chilled

    5. Single strain into chilled martini glass

    6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry

  • 2 oz gin
    .75 oz lime juice
    .75 oz simple syrup

    1. Place a coupe glass in the freezer to chill 

    2. Add simple syrup, lime juice, and gin to a cocktail shaker

    3. Fill 2/3 thirds with ice

    4. Shake for 20-30 seconds until shaker is chilled

    5. Double strain into chilled coupe glass

    6. Express lime and garnish with peel

  • 2 oz tequila
    1 oz lime juice
    1 oz triple sec

    1. Place a rocks glass with 3-4 ice cubes in the freezer to chill 

    2. Add lime juice, Cointreau, and tequila to a cocktail shaker

    3. Fill 2/3 thirds with ice

    4. Shake for 20-30 seconds until shaker is chilled

    5. Double strain into chilled rocks glass

    6. Garnish with a lime wheel

  • 2 oz rum
    .75 oz lime juice
    .5 oz simple syrup

    1. Place a coupe glass in the freezer to chill 

    2. Add simple syrup, lime juice, and rum to a cocktail shaker

    3. Fill 2/3 thirds with ice

    4. Shake for 20-30 seconds until shaker is chilled

    5. Double strain into chilled coupe glass

    .75 oz sweet vermouth
